EvnTide Launches Soon!
EvnTide launches on February 27th, which is next week! I hope to create a platform that readily accepts news related to English visual novels. It’s a genre that I love and one that deserves more recognition for all the variety it offers in the big wide world of indie games.
You can find out more information on the About page, but I really just empathize with game developers. Indie games in general have a hard time standing out in the noisy crowd of games releases each day.
I receive the most news about visual novels on my twitter feed– and they’re brief, fleeting, and very easy to miss. I have a ton of developer friends that I want to keep track of regularly. I find it hard in this day and age of intimidatingly-large games press and the overbearing noise of social media, there needs to be a middle ground.
EvnTide is stepping up to bat, creating articles and content that links back to game developers and their games, keeping to one particular niche – visual novels – so that this particular audience can find out about new, exciting games to play without having to manually search for it.
The Wonky Format
The format is going to be a little rough to start. I’d like to release news the day after I receive it. If you are a developer and you email me a press release, you can expect to see it up on EvnTide the next day or a couple days after, depending on how much info I’ve received for the day.
There will be new posts from Monday-Friday, usually released in the morning or afternoon.
I’d Love to Hear from You!
If you have any tips of suggestions for EvnTide, feel free to send an email to me and I’ll get back to you asap! Let’s grow this site together!
In the meantime, let your friends know about EvnTide! We’re a little sapling, and with your support, we can grow mighty and strong! Like a tree! :>
